KCool aren't you somewhat in the industry? You should know better. This move is a last resort effort to BECOME RELEVANT, not stay relevant. As LastDecember listed his so-called "career" has been nothing but leeching off of others. Dude has NO talent (other than being annoying as hell). Yes, he'll generate a little buzz but for all the wrong reasons. If this translated into actual sales, then you'd might have a point but I don't believe he's going to do anything serious. All he's doing is revealing how much more of a desperate douchebag he is......imho.

Like I said before. I don't really care much for him or his talent either. But hype now is what gets sells more than talent. Most artist create a hype to get attention to view or buy their product. Ray J is just doing what it takes to try to stay relevant. He is hustling.

Its no different than what Kim has done. She just has her family helping & backing her up. She recorded a song a few years ago that flopped . She has taken that sex tape attention & turned it into movies,muziq,reality shows,magazine covers & spreading her legs to eventually becoming a relevant name in the entertainment industry. Ray J does have a recording contract & his own production company. Why can't he do what she is doing & create his own endevors?

I never said that he couldn't pursue his own endeavors. I'm saying I fail to see how this move is smart when he's turning more people off than on to his "brand" of entertainment. That is the opposite of what he wants and needs. I never denied him generating buzz. My opinion is that the end results (so far) hasn't translated into a massive number of pre-sales or sales of his single/album (which is the goal). This is counter-productive. And as I said before, this is a desperate attempt to BECOME relevant not staying relevant.

Its too soon to say that. He just released the song recently & the video yesterday. Going by what anyone on the Org is saying about it doesn't count. Plus the buzz from this has worked. Its been on every major blog. It has gotten the attention that it was suppose to. People have listen to it & talked about it. I say he is #WINNING.

Since he has no qualms about exploiting former significant others, he must be readying his follow-up single, "I Hit it Last", about Whitney Houston, and detailing how he laid some pipe on her. Dude got no class.
