Kajagoogoo - Kajagoogoo

Even though i always liked kajagoogoo i wouldn't have been caught dead listening to them when i was younger...

I was young and dumb.

Anyway i like the Bass playing on this song

Kajagoogoo - Kajagoogoo(White Feathers, 1982)

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

they had a lot of competition back in the day, but they did have some good tunes. i remember these guys more for their hair than the music when they were on the scene... limahl's hair!! lol

That sounds pretty damn good. Ima check out their latest output further. Thanks !

@excited, yeah their hair did stand out. When i think of 80's hair i think of bands like kajagoogoo and A flock of seagulls.

Also when i made the comment about not being caught dead listening to kaja it was mainly because of their image. The 'homies' would have made fun of me if they knew i listened to bands like Kajagoogoo. little did the homies know, i was a closet Heavy Metaler, New Waver, Punk Rocker and Gothhead.. One day i finally decided that it was too much trouble hiding so i came out the closet...so to speak lol

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

Yeah, I think that even they realized the hair thing was a problem. Their music got even more progressive on the second album , and they even tried to shorten their name to just "Kaja" in the U.S., but it was too late by then--people who would've liked their music stayed away because of the "Haircut" image, and the teenyboppers stopped listening when Limahl left the group.....
