New single from Raheem Devaughn "Love Connection" New album is expected this summer "A Place Called Loveland".

I've always loved his voice and how he sings, but his music is completely different now compared to "The Love Experience"...an album which I love and consider his absolute best. I don't know, just seems like now his music is sounding "average". I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. |

I agree.
I think The Love Experience is a classic.
I dont like his music after this album. I think that he is trying to reach a different crowd from what he generated from The Love Experience. I prefer him singing neo soul/soul music than this generic R&B junk his been doing. |

His 2nd album wasn't so bad, though it did take me a while to get into it, but after that it seemed like he went from great to good. Maybe he buckled from the pressure of his record company to sound more like "what is currently out there" instead of his distinctive sound from "Love Experience". Who knows. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. |

Sad because that sound was actually dare I say original. If he had kept in that direction he probably would be more respected despite not being as popular. It seems like with each release his music gets more and more average.
O well I will always be a HUGE fan of The Love Experience! |
