But I've followed this whole thing also. She was paid off! She didn't walk away empty handed.Her fat bank account helped her stay away. When MJ was alive she tried to get in their lives still & have a relationship with them more than once. if you've really been following this whole thing, you would know that you're wrong. as emancipation said, debbie rowe is on record more than once stating that she had no desire to be a mother, as much as she wanted mj to be a father. moreover, you can't pay someone off if they're not willing to be paid off. she has shown more than once that she cares more for money than those kids. she gave up her parental rights *unilaterally*, and without telling mj. so much for wanting a relationship with these kids. she's good friends with a man who sued mj and said some pretty slanderous things about him. soon after mj died, they went out to japan to sell a movie which the man cobbled together from old mj footage he had. sort of like what the jacksons do; they go outside the u.s. thinking that puts them outside the reach of the executors and having to pay their profits from mj's image to the estate. this woman is not genuine, at all. i notice that prince does not share his sister's desire to have debbie anywhere near him.

With Michael Jackson’s wrongful death trial just on the horizon, it sounds like we can expect a whole new can of worms to be opened.
According to sources, the details we know so far about MJ’s life and personal struggles are just the tip of the iceberg. Once the trial begins, sealed medical documents will come up as evidence and in testimony.
A source revealed that the King of Pop’s medical records had:
“…remained sealed for a very good reason. The contents of the records will stun even the most diehard Michael Jackson fan. Michael’s dependence on prescription drugs for routine cosmetic procedures was astounding. The judge has allowed AEG to present Michael’s medical records to prove their point that he was addicted to drugs, and the lengths he would go to keep it hidden. They had absolutely no knowledge that Dr. Murray would be giving Michael Propofol at his home. If AEG did, they would have terminated talks with Murray immediately, and taken the appropriate action. AEG doesn’t want to present this evidence, but they are being sued by Katherine for $40 BILLION DOLLARS,”

Sounds like things are about to get very heavy.
But we do have to say this–MJ, even in his life, didn’t have the cleanest of records. However, his fan base stayed strong, and despite his personal failings there was no denying his musical gift.
We just hope that when the private medical life of Michael Jackson is brought to the surface, his children and family don’t suffer more because of it.
