Nope.
Ive asked you numerous of times to explain your point.
I geniunely would like to know because the photo can be taken many different ways.
I took it as if your implying MJ was not original, was that your point? If so I disagree.
NOBODY has posted a performer in motion and spotaneously ending in the ballet pointe besides the man in the gif. Even in the photo you posted you still can not see the man on the tip of his toes.

Really now? Where in the 365 pages did you read about him doing that? Because that's a term that brittish tabloids came up with, and it's stupid to believe that MJ drank alcohol with underaged children who had cancer. Also there are stories of Prince sleeping in the same bed as underaged girls and then having sex with them when they turned 18, Anna Garcia anyone?... So whether you want to believe he didn't do anything before that is up to you. But lets not continue spreading lies about an innocent man. And since you like Justin so much, why don't you compare him to Prince? When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace -Jimi Hendrix

Funny how you ignored the other stuff, but whatever. You guys do realize that playing your own music doesn't mean you're a great instrumentalist? In fact many of the great composers of prior centuries that actually changed music forever, weren't that good of musicians even though there were some who were. While Michael Jackson was not a known instrumentalist, he was an exceptional composer, arranger, songwriter, dancer, choreographer, vocalist, producer and you can't take that away, in that sense his work is more connected to an older tradition of music from the romantic era. MJ was the embodiment of his music , much like Richard Wagner transformed opera into music drama, another composer who was not a very skilled instrumentalist but yet changed music for all time. So comparing poor little Justin to the revolutionary Michael Jackson is quite childish and immature, come back to me when you actually know music history and not some damn immature obsession with Prince. You wanna talk Prince's music go ahead because I can actually do that without attacking someone else, but lets stop this silly game of trying to compare MJ to a disney child star. MJ was a veteran before he hit puberty, while Prince was still in his bed dreaming of becoming a star. The org is always so damn immature, it makes you wonder how old people are... :/ When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace -Jimi Hendrix

While [Name calling snip - luv4u], nobody is saying JT is equal or on par with MJ. If anything, the most is that JT is trying to emualte MJ..nobody says he was better at it than Michael etc. Whats wrong with seeing MJ as an influence? Isnt that a good thing regarding MJ?

KCOOLMUZIQ said:How Live Nation Deal Cornered Justin Timberlake 5:00 AM PDT 3/27/2013 by Shirley Halperin 1 AP Images Justin Timberlake earned about $20 million from Live Nation just for committing to a tour. The superstar rolled out his album “20/20” in three months instead of the usual year as a $20 million deal with the concert industry giant came due. This story first appeared in the April 5 issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine. The seemingly flawless rollout of Justin Timberlake's new album, The 20/20 Experience, which sold 968,000 copies during its first week of release, has confounded many in the music business. After all, it wasn't long ago -- June 2011, to be exact -- that the 32-year-old singer declared in Playboy, "Music is not my focus right now," shortly after telling Vanity Fair: "I wouldn't say I'm not going to put out another [album]. I would say that would be a bad bet, if you were betting." One entity that was putting money on the former 'N Syncer's musical future: Live Nation. In 2008, the concert industry giant entered the business of Timberlake when it acquired Signatures, a leading merchandising company that counts the pop star among its exclusive licenses. Months later, it announced a multiyear agreement to feature 901, the premium tequila brand Timberlake launched, as the official tequila of Live Nation venues. According to multiple sources, a 2009 partnership with Timberlake, structured after Jay-Z's game-changing $150 million Live Nation 360 deal and Timberlake's AEG-promoted, $126 million-grossing 2007 FutureSex/LoveShow tour, was quid pro quo for a touring commitment to Live Nation. In exchange, Timberlake received about $20 million -- $5 million of it free and clear, or "a gimme," as one insider describes it. (Worth noting: Timberlake could have returned it had he not toured.) So it's understandable that upon hearing of Timberlake's intended hiatus, the company would become uneasy at the prospect of waiting endlessly for its star, who had garnered accolades as an actor, appearing in Oscar-caliber films and rom-coms. Timberlake next will be seen in the Coen brothers'Inside Llewyn Davis, but not before he takes part in the massive Live Nation-promoted Legends of the Summer tour, which he'll co-headline with Jay-Z. Says one high-ranking source, "There is a due date by which you have to start touring -- at some point, [Live Nation] has to call in the loan." Typically, an album launch for a megastar of Timberlake's stature would take a year to set up at radio and retail, in addition to recording time. But with 20/20, the public first got word of its March 19 release in January, after which Timberlake kicked off a massive TV and marketing blitz that included a hosting stint on Saturday Night Live, a week's worth of appearances on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, a surprise performance at South by Southwest and a national ad campaign for Target, which is selling a deluxe edition of the album in addition to devoting prime retail space to the pop star. Timberlake also has been approached for an endorsement deal with Diet Coke. Talk about going from zero to jet speed in a minute. Which begs the question: Was the album rushed so there would be product to sell in addition to concert tickets? Longtime Timberlake manager Johnny Wright told CNN during the network's 30-minute special, The Justin Timberlake Experience, that20/20 was made in only 20 days, which might account for the mixed reviews it has received. The New York Times called it "primarily a paean to brand maintenance." Said Jody Rosen in Rolling Stone: "There are no songs as instantly infectious as 'SexyBack.' … But eventually the music sinks its teeth in." There also was a hitch leading up to the Feb. 22 tour announcement. The album's first single, "Suit & Tie," with its retro groove and '70s-esque falsetto, seemed to have a slow start at radio after its Jan. 15 debut -- so much so that, according to an insider, the promoter worried whether Timberlake, six years removed from his previous tour, could fill arenas. Enter rap legend Jay-Z, who recently befriended the pop star and suggested the two hit the road together. Driving the nepotism home, the stars share close ties with Timbaland, who produced20/20, signed to Roc Nation in January and is in the studio with Jay-Z. As for the Legends trek, while Jay-Z's addition upped the venue size to stadiums, a Timberlake source asserts that the headliners will split revenue 50-50. The summer tour should bring in north of $60 million, estimates one insider, which is more than enough to cover Timberlake's obligation to Live Nation. A rep for the concert company tells THR: "Live Nation always envisioned an arena tour for Justin Timberlake. After their successful studio collaboration, Justin and Jay-Z approached us, and we are thrilled to promote their stadium tour." The team-up strategy seems to be working: According to StubHub, Legends of the Summer is outselling Jay-Z's previous Watch the Throne outing with Kanye West by a 5-to-1 margin. As for "Suit & Tie," it's at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, with follow-up "Mirrors" hot on its heels. All this momentum will lead to Timberlake's own headlining outing in the fall, a Live Nation rep confirms, without specifying what size venues he'll play. In a way, Timberlake's insta-arrival is a testament to his pop-culture staying power. It's a rarity, but don't call it a comeback. "That implies that Justin was 'down' at some point," says on-air personalityChris Booker of Los Angeles' AMP Radio. "I see it more as a pause. He stepped away on top of the pop world, and nobody filled the void. I hope he gets the music bug more often; it's his strong suit and tie." Muziq biz politics plays a part in everything. LiveNation has its claws in everything now...Even Prince(who Timberlake obviously models his business afterwards besides muziq) worked with LiveNation a few years ago with his successful W2A tour... THough im not taking away from his number, he is about the only MALE in the business that has numbers, i mean outside of him who do you have as a "Seller"? (of this generation that is) Justin Beiber's numbers are way down, his day is gone, Lil Wayne is almost a senior citizen now, i think people have finally woke up to that gremlin. But it does sometimes amaze me that people call others sell outs for getting with corporations until its an artist they like than its SMART. Also recording an album in 3 months, when has that become "unheard of" shit thats what an artist is supposed to do, unless its later in your career and you can take the time with it, to me the issue with artists today is the long wait between albums, so i can really call artists like Beyonce, JT, Alicia keys even MUSIC artists, because they take so damn long (well not Beyonce) but most artists take 2-5 years in between work, to me thats way too long and unecessary, and why there is no competition now in music [Edited 3/27/13 20:17pm] "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

I am not even going to feed into your obsession with comparing Prince with Michael Jackson.
First off, you know comparing JT to MJ is bullshit and you also know that MJ has arranged, written, produced and also played on some his own songs as well which is why you love comparing him to Prince and getting arise out of the MJ fans here.
Well congradulations, you have successfully succeeded in that.
We GET that.
Now can you kindly stay on topic
If you want to talk about Michael Jackson than by all means go to the sticky and talk to your hearts content. If you want to compare him to Prince than by all means go to the Prince forum or a Prince related thread.
If your tired of hearing about MJ why not simply shut the fuck about him.
You are clearly the one obsessed with talking about him but oddly plea for people to not talk about him.
Stay pressed [Edited 3/27/13 16:34pm]

Can you please explain all the million of MJ comparisions in all these JT threads insisting that they are on the same level then? The posters here are obviously instigating arguements with comparing JT to MJ. There is nothing wrong with acknowledging an influence but this is clearly beyond the case here.
As far as JT's race is concerned I will just say this and let it go.
The media treats these legendary African American acts like SHIT.
You will here a James Brown, Sammy, Prince, MJ, Marvin Gaye, Aretha comparision in a minute before you hear a Elvis or Beatles one.

I didnt think amyone was saying he is as good but if they did they know dman well they are wrong.
I said an MJ OTW influnece because soe of the songs have some of the same elements as songs on OTF (I Cant Help It, Off The Wall) and a bit of Thriller mamacoosa chanting etc..
I dont think he is tryna emulate Elvis or The Beatles..
now somebody like Oasis WAS trying to be The Beatles but JT isnt trying to do any rock and he knows his lane is blue-eyed soul....

If you want people to stop insulting you and wish to stay on topic then GROW UP and stop bringing up irrelevant things that has nothing to do with the topic... PRETTY simple

Thats fine.
If that is your opinion I can accept that.
Personally, what Ive heard doesnt sound anything like Off The Wall, its just the same ol songs that he usually does (which isnt bad but not really creative either).
Off The Wall was not just R&B/Soul. It had a mixture of funk, disco, jazz, etc. I havent head anything like that and if he did make a song that combines all those elements can you please post it?

If i was so weak minded and couldn't take any criticism.I wouldn't keep creating these threads. Nothing you've said bothers me. I love talking about the entertainment industry. Keep it coming. Check out the ending of Let The Groove Get In..its akin to Off The Wall chorus..the second half f Strawberry Bubblegum is akin to I Cant Help It..I think those are on purpose..the beginning of Let The Groove Get in is like the Wanna Be Startin Something coosa chant
and to a lesser extent it seems like Suit n Tie is Rock With You
yeah OTW has some jazz elements to it and such I guess..which parts do you think are jazz?

I am going to try to be objective with this post.
I listened to the entire Let The Groove Get In and the ending sounds nothing like the Off The Wall chorus. The Off The Wall chorus is alot more funkier and faster. The beginning chants sound NOTHING like Wannabe startin something and it doesnt remind me of Wannabestartin something. Now I will say that the beginning of the song reminds me of Workin Day and Night (because of the drums) but it still doesnt sound exactly like it. It doesnt have the fusion of genres and the live variety production with the horns, bass, etc
I am still not impressed with the song. I think its okay. Its catchy but not great.
Strawberry Bubblegum: The song has a awful start and is that Timbaland talking in the background? Unnessary and ruins the song. The ending sounds nothing like I Cant Help It. The ending reminded me more of the the chorus of his song Until the End of Time because he drags the words and ICHT chorus is slightly faster.
Ugh...still not impressed
Is this how the whole album sounds? Is this what all the hoopla is about? I mean the man has descent music, its not bad, its not horrible but its not worthy of all this praise. He has made similiar songs on his other two albums. This is not "new" for him.
On Off The Wall and Jazz:
Its not so much specific parts that are Jazz on the album. Some songs have more of it than others but alot of the songs on the album are a fusion of many genres. The Justin Timberlake songs you posted just sound like ordinary R&B songs but a song like Workin Day and Night, Get On The Floor and Burn This Disco Out has funk, soul, R&B, pop, disco, and even some soft rock elements ALL IN ONE song. This is why I dont quite understand the comparisions with what JT does because the songs on the album just sound like R&B songs and no other genres or styles. The songs Ive heard so far are not as eclectic as Off The Wall.
I would classify I Cant Help It as the most Jazz song on the album by itself even Quincy called it a Jazz song and compared MJ's vocals on the song to Jazz singers.
