I watched it last night. Fanny wiped up the floor with that song!!!! omg That was THE best live vocal I have ever heard from her. All of the shit she has been thru over the past couple of years has definately made her a better singer. LOVE those lyrics!!! I will definately be copping her CD on Tuesday!!!headbang

Billboard (the bible of the music industry) is predicting a number 2 debut for Side Effects of You on the Top 200 albums chart which gives her an excellent chance for a number 1 debut on the R&B albums chart. Lose to Win achieved a new peak position of number 6 on the Adult R&B chart (based on airplay) and a debut on the main R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart (based on airplay and sales) at #38. All in all, Fantasia has plenty to smile about her career all these years after American Idol.

Rightfully so. It really is a very fine album. She should be proud of herself.

Missy makes more money as a producer. Like her manager Mona Scott said Missy is always constantly writing for other artist & realizes its a different grind to be an artist nowadays. With that said I am very proud of Fantasia. She is a real artist & women that lives out her strugles publicly and you can feel what she is singing. Fantasia’s ‘Idol’ Performance Leads to Big Sales

Before her return to the “Idol” stage, the season three winner had been garnering airplay with this first single from her new album, “Side Effects of You,” according to Billboard. “Lose to Win” had reached No. 7 on the airplay-based Adult R&B chart, and this week it rebounds 8-6, achieving a new peak position.

But this week, the single also makes moves on a number of sales-based charts. On Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Songs, “Lose to Win” is a new entry at No. 33. On the main Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, which is based on sales and airplay, “Lose to Win” bows at No. 38. And on the Bubbling Under the Hot 100 chart, the song debuts at No. 2, indicating a forthcoming debut on the Hot 100 itself.

“Lose to Win” is bound to move up next week, thanks to the release of the parent album, which will make its debut on a number of charts, possibly upping Fantasia’s total of Billboard No. 1s (at the moment she has 32, good enough for fourth place among Idols with the most chart-toppers. The only Idols who have more are Kelly Clarkson (82), Carrie Underwood (66) and Chris Daughtry (39 for his group Daughtry).

Billboard is predicting that “Side Effects of You” will enter The Billboard 200 album chart at No. 2. That gives the set an excellent chance of debuting at No. 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.

lol anyone see Fantasia on Watch What Happens Live the other night? She was pretty funny. Here's a clip of her impromptu singing about some dumb chick who was twerking in grocery store:

Anthony Mackie drool was the other guest. Earlier in the episode, Fantasia did more impromptu singing of dumb celebrity tweets while Mackie had to guess who tweeted it lol Hopefully a clip will be soon.

This morning Fantasia woke up anyone who was still asleep when The View came on. The newly svelte singer stepped onto the soundstage in her cute, daytime television appropriate outfit and snazzy Louboutins to join Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg,Sherri Shepherd, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and special guest host Jenny McCarthy for a quick sit-down before performing her inspirational hit song "Lose To Win." The ladies all welcomed Fantasia who came across as very mature, grounded and likable during her four-minute chat fest. Not shying away from the tough questions about the numerous scandals and controversies she found herself in in recent years, Fantasia was honest about her shortcomings, her God-given gifts and desire to use her life and current single as a testimony that you can in fact win again. Let the church say amen.

Watch her interview then do yourself a favor and peep her live performance of "Lose To Win" for good measure.

I'm really diggin her right now. She is a real artist with real problems. It is nothing fake about her whatsoever. Keep your head up Tasha....

Based on the snippets, my favorite songs will be "Side Effects Of You", "In Deep", "Without Me", "Lighthouse", "Ain't All Bad", "End Of Me" and "Get It Right".

She was on his morning show recently at the Red Velvet Cake Studio- doing the "In Studio Jam", she's a great performer- from most video clips I see of hers it seems like her shows would be hella fun, and can keep people on their feet:
