Blasting jam from that album. Pleased to have heard them perform it a few times on concerts, with great synth fills by Jeff Nelson. Larry sometimes seems to miss the sparkle which I saw in him before. He leaves the stage any now and then during shows.

I've seen them perform it live twice too. I don't want to speculate because i don't

know but Larry doesn't get around the stage as nifty as he used to. It looks like

maybe he had some issues with his knee.

Ah I see. I wasn't aware. Man, that's unfortunate . Last time that I was at a Cameo show I thought he was in a "been there, done that" phase. That explains it more because the group always gave their all at concerts. Around 1999 they even received a Vibe magazine award for best performance. Hopefully he'll get better. Nicholas Caldwell from The Whispers also had leg problems and uses or used a chair on stage. Thanks for the update.

Agreed...about the STUDIO take (didn't like it then....still don't..as per Andy's reasoning)....but that live version? Wow. THAT's the instrumentation they should have had on the original. Night & day difference. That was some kick-ass Cameo fonk, live.

I've always like this song, really a good steppers song. A dee jay (crazy jeff) did a remix of this song that was just sick. As far as Larry, chalk it up to age. I saw Cameo 3 years ago and Larry couldn't move as he did when he was a young guy, time brings on a change.

Snoop could only wish he could play this keyboard riff that Cameo has been known for

years.
