Updated: Timberlake's 20/20 Album Tracklist, Stream
02/06/2013
Justin Timberlake on Wednesday unveiled the full track listing for his upcoming The 20/20 Experience comeback album, as well as a black and white album cover image.
Timberlake appears a tuxedo and bow tie on the cover, standing behind a large eye machine. In the forefront are his initials, JT, and the album’s title in gold lettering. According to the announcement on Timberlake’s official website, the singer was photographed by world-famous photographer Tom Munro.
The image served as an interactive experience to discover more, including a complete, hand-written track list for the release. See the complete list below. Several of the songs will appear familiar to New Orleans concert-goers, as the pop star debuted multiple tracks at a Super Bowl weekend show.
Timberlake is due to make his first televised performance in several years at Sunday’s Grammy Awards. Later that night, he’ll hit the stage at the Hollywood Palladium for a full set.
The 20/20 Experience, Timberlake’s first album since 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSounds, is due out March 19.
Track List:
''Pusher Love Girl'' ''Suit & Tie'' ''Don’t Hold the Wall'' ''Strawberry Bubblegum'' ''Tunnel Vision'' ''Spaceship Coupe'' ''That Girl'' ''Let the Groove Get In'' ''Mirrors'' ''Blue Ocean Floor"

Will this be gold? Lol | |

Only 10 tracks but I don't have a problem with that as long as it's quality.
Initial thoughts:
Album starts mid-tempo with Pusher Love Girl.
Is Don't Hold the Wall a nod to Off The Wall? LOL
Let The Groove Get In might be the albums best track.
Strawberry Bubblegum and Blue Ocean Floor are cool names but are they going make for good songs?
I'm sure there will be a deluxe edition at somepoint with more tracks and remixes. Isn't that always the case...
Album will sell extremely well but not be as good as his last album. Still, I think he's among the best of what's out there and I'll be certainly be buying this.
Is he as good as MJ, hell no. Never in a million years. But he's the best out there at the moment.

You're in the minority if you think this will be a poorly received album. I'm predicting robust first-week sales and longevity on the charts.

^ Yep, it will sell extremely well. But I don't think Suit and Tie is going to make it to #1. Which after being out for 7 years, has to be a disappointment for his camp.
Bottom line, Suit and Tie was not as strong as Sexyback.

How do you know that? he hasn't even released the album!

I like the video intro, but the song itself isn't very strong as a first single.

Well I am just basing that off his last 2 albums. They were pretty good and I could listen to them straight through without wanting to skip any tracks. There's not many artists out there today that I feel are like that.
2002, 2006, 2013... Seems like he doesn't rush his music out so I expect more quality.

I don't expect for this album to be horrible, but I don't see it performing as well as his previous 2 efforts. The industry has changed again since he last released an album. Even the biggest acts have a problem selling 500,000 copies of an album. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Why the hell did anyone persuade him to go back into music? Stick to acting for all our sakes!!!!

As a stan I was mad that Suit and Tie was the first single, it's just forgettable and brings nothing new. But I like that he didn't bring out a sound that the other pop artists are doing at the moment. I have high hopes for the album but I have a feeling I will probably enjoy his other two more.

Yeah I'm glad he didn't go that route that some other veterans have used to "get back".

First of all everyone is talking sales sales sales already, not realizing its been ages since his last one and eons since his first solo, MUCH MUCH different world, alot of his fans have gone on, and many dont really care musically anymore, if you take this long between records which is the case now with most artists, u cant expect to pick up where u left off. Will it be BIG, in terms of what standards? what is BIG based on? last album sales, first album sales, in that case it wont BE BIG if thats your basis, will it debut number one yeah isnt that what always happens now, its not really a challenge to do that at this point, not like you are competing against anothe strong release or seller when u put out a record now, those days are done sign sealed and delivered, competiton is non existent now and pure a made up HYPE.
As for is it good is he good, etc...its all subjective, its a debate that has no end. "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

He can do music, but please don't make him believe he can act, because HE CAN'T!!!! Horrible actor! When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace -Jimi Hendrix

^ I think he did a fair job in The Social Network although he probably was playing a character like himself. However I just don't like his arrogance in music, he is better on the screen where i can't hear him!!!!

I have to agree. Better singer and performer than actor.

Yeah, oh I get it...well. Ok.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Well, JT is in fact a pretty stupid artist...
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I agree.. I mean for real tho, who on the org (let alone the world) can take someone like Justin (Timberlake and Beiber) seriously? These are two of the wackest dudes in the industry today. Sometimes I really don't understand people. I think they are only successful because of their privilege (and you know what privilege I'm talking about)
