By far i think this is THE BEST VOCAL PERFORMANCE by a male artist.. i know you guys would mention D'Angelo, Frank Ocan and falsetto-guys who perform very well but this is PASSION in its musical form.. i really think that Bruno's music needs so much to be perfect but concering VOCALS i don't think there's anybody more perfect than him THESE DAYS!

He's the real deal as far as I'm concerned Thanks for posting this performance, I think this is the best live version of this song I have seen so far. Seriously i know that we talk about this guy too much but it's just that he's the only mainstream popstar who deserves his fame.. i mean you can give me tons of musicians who are better than him but they aren't famous so even if we try to make threads about them nobody will give a shit. P.S.: I really want opinions no matter what they are.. i mean i'd appreciate someone to GIVE arguments about his point of view, i'm not being a stan of Bruno i just support talent, i supported many artists in forums like John Legend and Miguel in the last years.. It just feels that everybody here lacks a good view of things cuz nobody will make his albums a full masterpiece critically acclaimed.

Bruno, who clearly has SOME talent, has a subjectively ok voice and seems to have a decent mentality, IS STILL ONLY RELEASING THE SAME NONSENSE THAT EVERY OTHER TOP 40 PRODUCT IS DOING.

You know, that top 40 chart of products who play the same 4 chords over and over in order to fill record executives pockets.

We are on a Prince forum! He promotes real music by real musicians and i would of thought his fan base would reflect that (and they do to a healthy degree, but don't seem to occupy this part of the forum), but these unbelievably ill-informed, insult-to-intelligence threads about Bruno being a new Prince, for example, is bewildering.

Bruno has album producers in the double digits ala every other top 40 product, has samey pop songs that sound like anything else, exceedingly simple melodies....basically no different to any other pop product.

My only positive would be to say that if he broke free of the system, then maybe he could have the potential to be good-ish due to the illusion he/record executives present to us regarding his musical stance (band, holds a guitar etc).

Stop listening to the top 40 and get hunting for some independent ARTISTS who would blow any of this simplistic nonsense out of the water.

At least it's a step up from the disgusting Lady GaGa overrating and comparisons....fuck me.

I fully agree with you, i don't overrate Bruno i just support his talent cuz a lot of people here lack maturity concering what's VOCALLY good or not.

And i think you may listen to some of his new songs off his 2nd album, like "Gorilla" and "Moonshine". Give me your feedback cuz they ain't nothing like POP you mentioned.
