R.I.P. Alvin Lee, ex Ten Years After guitarist R.I.P. to Ten Years After guitarist Alvin Lee. The British guitar hero was made famous by the tune by Ten Years After "I'm Going Home" form the WOODSTOCK Festival in 1969. Lee was often on bills with Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page and all the other British guitar Gods. He died after routine surgery according to his family. Music Royalty in Motion | |

I just googled it. Alvin Lee was 68.
He was a great guitarist. | |

I was never a huge fan but I do have a handful of Ten Years After albums and Alvin was certainly an impressive guitarist. | |

there were some big names on the woodstock film but his song was as good as anybodys, i can still remember it after all these years, its just my opinion but i think there was only santana who might have been better in the woodstock film. | |
