Speakerboxxx/The Love Below
My favorite album by ANY artist/group so far (and Kelis's Kaleidoscope)... now correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't this album turn 10 years old this year?

The Love Below' the success of the album scared Andre 3000 enough to make him walk away from its success....

since ... Big Boi released three solo joints plus a compilation he produced. Dre did a soundtrack to some cartoon.
The released Idlewild, but it was mostly solo material with only 2 tracks featuring both together. PRINCE: Always and Forever

This album broke through so many genres... hell Outkast in general did that.
I can't tell you how many rock and metal enthusiasts who despise any kidn of rap loved the singles off this.
People i know who were strictly country jammed to Hey Ya! and Ghetto Musik.
There have been few albums since then that readhed such a global audience with pop, rock, metal, funk, r&b, hip-hop, classical etc. Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

They were both on the Walk It Out remix and International Players Anthem. They were also on a 2010 song called Lookin' 4 Ya. It was supposed to go on Big Boi's solo album, but was not officially released because of record label politics. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Yup, I was one of those rock fans who normally wouldn't give a hip-hop album the time of day. Until I heard and fell in love with 'Hey Ya'. And 'Roses'. And 'The Way You Move'. Then I ran out and bought the album and it barely left my CD player for a year. It's been too long since you've had your ass kicked properly:

I remember getting this for my birthday, the year it came out. From the moment, that I placed it in my CD player, I listened to it for a year straight. While I do enjoy "Speakerboxx", "The Love Below", hit me like a ton of bricks and an album that I place in my to 5 favorite albums of all time. From what I've, "The Love..." is supposed to be the soundtrack to a movie, (of the same name) that was supposed to be written, produced, and star, Dre. I wonder if it will ever see the light of day... "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"
