Mariah Carey is lending her vocals to Disney's Oz The Great and Powerful with the single "Almost Home."

The song will be released as a single by Carey’s label, Island Def Jam, on Feb. 19.

The fantasy adventure, directed by Sam Raimi, hits theaters March 8.

Disney, Carey and Island Def Jam plan to launch a promotional campaign to support the single, the video and the film.

"'Almost Home' has a message that works beautifully with the film," Carey said in a statement. "It’s a feel-good record; it gives you the feeling of reaching your home and being with people that you love."

Damn, I thought she wqas singing the main song for the next Star Wars film

I just hope she don't have Lil Joe or Big Mo or whoever rapping on this song with her.

Other than the fact that her voice sounds computerized and the music is atocious, it ain't half bad. At least she's singing out loud.

Overall I like the song. She's singing! I also like that it's a departure from her usual sound and there are NO featured rappers. This track is obviously aimed at the younger audience so I'm curious how well it will be received by them

This really ain't your typical Disney song. I'm a little surprised because I was expecting a big power-ballad but, unfortunately, this song does not fall into that category. If they make this available in a more traditional mix, I may buy it.

Okay, despite the music, this song is starting to kinda grow on me.

I wish she would renew her songwriting partnership with Walter Afanasieff, her frequent collaborator in the 90s. Back then I thought their songs were mellow and listless. Now I would welcome those songs over what she's doing now.

The song lacks some earcatchiness thanks in part to overtreated vocals. I wanted so badly to like it more.

Uh unh... Can't say I like this song at all... I gave up on Mariah a long time ago...

Actually, I like the melody of the song, but I hate those synthesizers that everybody uses today. And I wish they would leave her vocals natural. I think the song could have been really nice, had real instruments played there and had her voice was kept normal.

As for the video, I wish Mariah would NOT show her cleavage at least once. The dress also seems too tight.
