Well, I'm not sure what to say. This is not my type of music, nor my type of song.

But her voice ain't half bad---far better than much of the pop on radio today (I know that's not saying much).

I like the tune, actually. And her voice is pleasant.

I have a soft spot for music like this.

I like that type of simple melancholic lead guitar lines.

It was probably important for her personally that she makes some music that will not be regarded as just a joke. The lyrics aren't that bad for a "teen love song" either. She could sing a few lines here and there with a bit more oomph though.

Rebecca is still a below average vocalist. But I give her plenty of credit for not using Autotunes this time around. The lyrics are pretty good.

Musically, the track is beatbiting Norah Jones & Vanessa Carlton.

Plus she's young and she shouldn't listen to people who says she can't do something. Maybe, just maybe, she will surprises us all by becoming a more mature "artist" in later years.

Does this track finally resolve the back seat/ front seat dillemma? I like artists that make bold choices.
