Maze feat.Frankie Beverly is 1 of my all time favourite band.I love everything by them. They have 2 excellent live albums Live in New Orleans from 1980 & Live in Los Angeles from 1986. but all them albums R great.Give me the chill everytime I hear that piano intro 2 The look in your eyes. Not 2 mention that live 1986 version of I wanna thank you. /peace manki

Frankie Beverly & Maze never ever disappoint. Frankie always sounds great live. Golden Time Of Day, Southern Girl, I'll Never Let You Down and While I'm Alone are my favorite Maze tracks. When me and my family play cards, we will usually bump Silky Soul Singer.

"Runnin" Away" makes me Bump as well.Frankie can Hit that Night as well which He is underrated in IMHO.Frankie Wrote, arranged&Produced all of there tracks.Frankie is almost a One-Man Band quite as it's kept. mistermaxxx

I heard some rare 7" singles from before they were Maze.
They were Franikie Beverly & Raw Soul. It sounded great.Really funky & raw.Early 70´s. Marvin Gaye saw them I took them 2 B his opening act on tour.He hooked them up with Capitol Records who gave them their first record deal. Marvin had them change their name from "Raw Soul" 2 "Maze". I really wish I could see them live, but they probably just tour the states. they have a website: www.mazemuze.com /peace manki
