All of his albums are consistently good. But his last album, Lyrics, was spotty. I'm wondering if he's better off working with producers than on his own. This new song isn't bad but is not the quality he used to put out back in the day. The spoken voice intro's get annoying after a while as does the chest thumping.
Still looking forward to this new album though as Donell is my favorite R&B artist out there today (maybe this is why I am so critical).

Hasn't caught my ear yet. But I'll give the album a listen.....I know he is in love now. He said in a recent interview he found his soulmate..." in a club"...  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. | |

I don't know... My Heart, Where I Wanna Be, Life Goes On, and Journey of a Gemini I could listen straight through. Really not much filler. Even most of the unreleased stuff is better than what most put out there. | |

Sounds pretty good-always liked his voice. His albums are weak though except for Where I Wanna Be and My Heart the rest suck, but maybe he'll come back strong. | |
