I own a lot of music by Sister Sledge/ CHIC, but..

I just can't find this track..:

Chic - "Chic Cheer" (Bernard Edwards 1984 Mix/ remix) 4:45

Please note:

this great song "Chic Cheer - 1984 Mix" has about the same running time as the original "Chic Cheer" song from 1978/79?, (about 4:45),

Released on vinyl in 1984: the remix is much better, plus it has no live audience noice as intro/ beginning.

where do I find this "1984 Mix" on official MP3 (in 320, at least 256) -- or better, on CD/ Wav..?

(I have downloaded the version rip from YT -- which is taken from a vinyl, therefor the sound is not that great).

ps.) the official 4-cd box set: "Nile Rodgers presents the CHIC Organization, vol. 1".

I am not "100% sure" but I don't think this includes the remix version (not written), afaik, the box includes the original -- the version with the "live audience noice" intro.

Does this track, the "Chic Cheer 1984 Mix" even exist on CD/ or.. as a good digital download..?

I think you can find it in a compilation called Dance Classics: The Remixes, vol. 3, which appears to be a CD published in Holland in 1989, according to discogs.com:

Yeah, it seems to be pretty strange, no copies aren't sold in Amazon. No idea where to download the track legally, sorry.

I found a copy of the released CD: on ebay.nl..

£ : 23.99 in NM condition..

But I found out most of the other tracks on this compilation are remixes made by Ben Liebrand..

most remixes (found quickly on YT) -- sounds very dated, very 1980's like....

therefor I don't wanna buy it,

too much £ for only 1 track...
