Nice soothing tune, don't know this album...

We're here, might as well get into it.

Yeah, it's not one of his better known albums, but this is definitely one of my favorite Van Morrisson tunes....

I'm a bit weary of Van Morrison albums, got "Into The Music" a while back, which i absolutely loved, then decided to pick up "Wavelength" which was meant to be very similar, i absolutely loathed it.

Believe it or not I'm actually more familiar with his later stuff -like from 1982, on forward, Lol!! I know I'm supposd to check out stuff like Astral Weeks, His Band and Street Choir, and the rest of Moondance, etc....But I actually like Later stuff like this--

That's funny i'm kinda the opposite, have a lot of his early albums, yet nothing after 1980!. I think it's pretty cool he's still got a really great voice, it's a little different but still great!. His newer stuff is a little too clean and saccharine sounding in general for my taste's, although the album "Magic Time" has alway's been one i've been tempted to get, the two opening songs i've heard off it are amazing.

Yeah some of his early albums like "Astral Weeks" and "Veedon Fleece" are amazing, but experimental and definately an aquired taste, i can see why a few people find them hard to get into.
