Although Frozen didn't grab me like Bedtime Story, it was still fresh for Madonna, and the sound itself was so unexpected for her cause I really thought she was going to do ballads and music like Something to Remember material. I love the video, imagery and all of it, but remember that others got more excited over it than I did though Ray of Light was a cool era. Usually I'm the first go out and get a Madonna album upon release, but family had beat me to it that time with rediscovering her and I appreciated the album tracks like Swim, Candy Perfume Girl and Little Star way more. Also really love Power of Goodbye, that's probably my favourite off the album.

Music the song is definitely a nod to the 80's and her older sound, but very modern and fresh, it was where dance/pop music was headed for the 00's. I thought Don't Tell Me was a clever choice for a single cause of the r&b influence though I also heard adult contemporary and some have said country, but some of the other tracks are underrated too. I think Madonna and Mirwais produced even better work on American Life, but it's too bad most people missed out cause of the backlash and lack of promo.
