One of my favorite songs of all time - how much more perfect doese it get? Just the four bars at the beginning are godly great, so dynamic and funky... and then they start singing.

Someone suggested they had the fullest top-to-bottom vocal range of any of the big vocal groups. I can't disagree listening to that brilliant first verse.

Gotta be the MGs playing on this, right?

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Super track.

Doubt if it's the MG's.

Liner notes indicate this was recorded in Detroit.

Thanks to a connection, i've got the individual 16 tracks to the song Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get.

Actually, there are only 15, one of the tracks is blank.

Music for adventurous listeners
