Strange but true: Artists that are related

^In this video at the 4:40 mark, K-Ci (of Jodeci) says Devante is related to Toni Braxton. I don't know if he lying or not, but it got me thinking. What other musicians do you know of that are related or have close ties to other musicians/celebrities?

K-Ci is also related to Jo-Jo.

Crystal Gayle & Loretta Lynn are sisters.

B.B. King & Bukka White are cousins.

Hank Williams is the father of Hank Jr. and grandfather of Hank III.

Micky Dolenz's father is the actor George Dolenz Sr. and mother is actress Janelle Johnson. Micky's first name is actually George, so he's "Jr". "Micky" comes from his middle name "Michael". Yes, he's "George Michael".

Raheem DeVaughn and Chrisette Michelle are cousins.

Fantasia is cousins with KCi and JoJo

Let's not forget Whitney being related to Dionne Warwick and Aretha, though I'm not sure if Aretha is actually by blood or not.

Sam Cooke's brother L.C. released some records. Sam's daughter Linda was in the group Womack and Womack, whose other member, Cecil, is the brother of Bobby.

Jazz singer Freddy Cole is the brother of Nat and uncle of Natalie.

Comedian/actress Maya Rudolph is the daughter of Minnie Riperton and producer/songwriter Richard Rudolph.

Cissy Houston's niece is Dionne Warwick who's Whitney Houston's cousin... apparently Leontyne Price is also related to Cissy's relatives so that makes her a distant relative of Whitney's.
