Randy Muller bringing the funk with What's On Your Mind

The man responsible for some Skyy hits, Brass Construction hits,

and BT EXpress hits.

Totally agree, Phunk. Dude's catalog is INSANE fonkay..and he doesn't get enough props round these here parts.

ANYthing he did with Brass is top shelf..and the production credits thru the 80's just goes on & on. An underrated talent.

Skyy, Brass, Funk Deluxe, Rafael Cameron, BT, Instant Funk...well worth it for the uninitiated to check him out. "The Muller Organization" stamp always guaranteed that a decent throwdown would soon be giving your speakers a workout.

Just had "Get Up To Get Down", "Physical Attraction" and "Attitudes" on yesterday. Up loud? BANGIN!

Right there with you. I was rocking Get Up To Get Down too along
with some other BC classics like L-O-V-E U, The Message, Get Up, Movin,
and What's On Your Mind. I would pay money right now to see Randy Mulller
with his band. I guess he has some differences with his former bandmates
because BC is still touring with some of the original members.

Good choice to acknowledge and honor a key funk composition & performance talent.

Even the tunes that sound similar have a sufficient amount of extra elements

and different elements to make them worthy pieces in a list and/or collection.

Muller and Solomon Roberts and the rest of Skyy have created several very good

albums and singles.

While I enjoy the a substantial amount of 70's and 80's Brass Construction songs,

I think that the Skyy products are at least as good.

It is an atrocity that all of the Skyy stuff is not available in MP3 format.
