Gospel song of the day--Canton Jones: Be Healed--somewhat Princelike. I will say the lyrics are a bit problematic, but the song does really rock. Rock/soul like a song like Dolphin or some such. Pretty good:

Dope song. Love the dynamics of it. Canton's a bad boy. Should have been a single if it wasn't. Had crossover appeal for R&B stations.

Born agains have a lot of money to make records. Since they get gigs in megachurches.

Out of thousands of gospel & Christian pop acts, I doubt most of them have performed in a "megachurch" and don't have a lot of money, just like any other music. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton | |
