The Big Reunion UK There is this in the UK called "The Big Reunion", a show where 6 UK groups are reuniting to perform onstage for a huge concert:
5ive Liberty X Atomic Kitten 911 The Honeyz and B*Witched

The Big Reunion plans world tourITV2 pop reality series The Big Reunion is set to be produced around the world after ITV Studios began shopping it as a format. ITV Studios Global Entertainment will begin discussions with international broadcasters and producers at MIP TV in April following the success of the series, which has averaged over 1.3m viewers for its first four episodes. The series, which is produced by ITV Studios’ new production unit Potato, run by creative director Michael Kelpie, follows a number of former chart topping pop bands – including 5ive, Liberty X, Atomic Kittne and B*Witched – years after they split. Mike Beale, director of international formats at ITV Studios said: “Following the success of the ITV2 series it became clear that The Big Reunion would work as a global format. Each country has pop bands that have enjoyed success in the heyday and there is an enduring fascination to see what has happened to them. We look forward to launching The Big Reunion this MIPTV as part of our new format portfolio.” |

Apparently, accoridng to a friend with TV contacts, there's a second series planned next year and A1 and Eternal have already signed up. I really really can't wait for Eternal. I properly loved their first album. | |
