Your next purchases from artist you don't own? What will be your next group of releases from recording artist (new or old) that you've never purchased before?
Little Anthony & the Imperials Kashif Timex Social Club Club Nouveau Full Force Bilal
This goes along with recent purchases from Patrice Rushen, Colonel Abrams, SOS Band and Atlantic Starr who's records I've never owned before. [Edited 2/18/13 13:25pm] PRINCE: Always and Forever

I usually go to the used record stores or Half Price Books and if I see a record I'm interested in, I'll but it. In a lot of cases, the album is out of print or has never been on CD, so can't be purchased any other way. One place even sells used 8-tracks and blank 8-track tapes.
Flea markets and yard sales are good places too. [Edited 2/18/13 13:59pm] You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I just picked up some CD's by Sunny Day Real Estate, the Get Up Kids, Jimmy Eat World and Dashboard Confessional. I guess I am feeling nostalgic for the Emo era.

Leonard Cohen has been on my wanting list for quite a while. Think I'll start with live cd/dvd Songs from the Road because I saw it on tv. If anyone knows a good album to start with, feel free to tell me! Famous Blue Raincoat and Hallelujah should make it into anyone's list of "best songs ever."

I also want to get a talking heads album, into the light I think. I love the usage of afrobeat on it
