I've been listenig to some of her fugees material along with her Miseducation record again lately, and barring the annoying 90-esque "yo, yo....word...one time...one timmmeeee" nonsense, this woman is an incredible talent.

I'm dying to see what a new album would sound like given her years away and the changing landscape of music, and the fact that motherhood changes a woman.

PLEASE lawd, let EL-boogie whatever release something...

i highly doubt if she wil ever get back in there and feel it again she is more against the whole system than prince is. people call her crazy and all kinds of nuts but i think people whoe are highly intelligent get labeled nuts b/c they simply wont do what people want them 2 do.if she do come back i hope she does it indepedently and make music the way she want 2 do it

They call her crazy because she does not conform to people's "ideals", she speaks her mind and does not feed into the bullshit.

If you look at history at ANYBODY that did this, they were all labeled crazy or nuts for being themselves.

I will continue to play what I have. I'm not getting my hopes up about Lauryn and a new album.

I think some of her own personal choices have been detrimental. She doesn't owe us anything though. It's her life.

I have always thought Lauryn was a very intellectual and strong minded woman before you made your post.

Switching a few words around and passing it off as your own ideas is something different.

I dont think Lauryn is crazy i just think that alot of people pass out the label "genius" too fast in this world, at the end of the day its music, not rocket science. Yes some are much much better at their craft of music, but i think someone like Lauryn got all this praise way too quick, and that compiled with her own personal issues with family industry etc...

I think Lauryn is smart but also think there are some conflicts in her beliefs still to this day.

I don't think she's ever gonna do a new album.We will just have to listen to Miseducation and continue to enjoy that.It's a shame,but hey....at least she gave us one classic album to enjoy
