I love Elmer Bernstein, his compositions are so flawless and so warm. I'm also a big fan of Dorothy Dandrige, but I'm ashamed to say this , but I've never actually seen this movie because I don't like Halle Berry lol....

I love Dorothy Dandridge as well!

I love this soundtrack its flawless to me and Wendi Williams vocals are angelic. I dont know much about her but I wish she come out with an album lol

on Hally Berry: I am nonchalant when it comes to her... lol I do think she is very overrated as an actress but I will say her portrayel of Dorothy Dandridge is probably the best role of her career. Its funny how she didnt get any awards for it but she got an Oscar for stripping naked neutral

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
