Peter Gabriel Releases App to Celebrate So's Anniversary

Though we all dread the end of summer, this past year was easier to stomach, due to the epic news that August brought: the expanding and remastering of Peter Gabriel's 1986 masterpiece So. To celebrate the album's 25th anniversary even further, Peter Gabriel has announced that on January 8 the Apple store will carry a revolutionary app called MusicTiles.

This app, designed by Henrik Hautop Lund ,gives Gabriel fans the opportunity to make their own versions of songs off So. Watch Lund demonstrate how this app works, simply by connecting different-colored tiles—each representing various instruments and vocals—to one another.

Just wanted to say, the remastering on the 25th anniversary edition of this album is superb, one of the best sounding remasters i have heard.
