How would you rate Grace Jones as a singer? Umm, I don't think she sings as much as growls and talk sings. Besides that, she scares me. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries." | |

She is an original. So is her brother whose church I attend every Sunday..  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. |

Homegirl can sing and sing good!
In fact imo i think she has a unique voice. Much like Diamanda Galas she acreams a lot and is a little bit aggresive

On most of her songs she just sings, there's hardly talking. Only on Hurrican she "talk sings" a lot, and she does have an amazing talking voice.

She is a singer. Tracks like "La vie en rose" or "I'm not perfect" (my favourite track of her) are really well sung, take away the performace and you still have a good record. | |

As a singer I think she is smart and exciting, and has amazing intuition. There is more to singing than just having a certain quality of voice; if that is your benchmark I think Susan Boyle has a new record out. | |
