The first time I heard this, I nearly peed myself. The instrumental fade out, is awesome!

Great song, and one of the most frequently mis-quoted lyrics in pop history.

It's "I bless the rains down in Africa".

Not, as this Facebook pic i've seen several times, indicates:

er

This is actually the only song of them that I like. It could very well be that hearing this at 10 or 11 years was one of the things that made me want to go to Africa and do a safari myself.

biggrin but i also feel a little bad cause the entire Toto IV album is great.

But Africa is just a classic and suprisingly stil gets a ton of play today.

Fantastic song. IMO, it ranks just ahead of "Hold the Line" and just behind "Rosanna," which is my favorite.

Totally agree and don't forget Human Nature because that's one of Totos most beautiful songs. I love their cool and sophisticated instrumentation in their music! They are incredible musicians smile My mom used to always put on Toto music before I would go to sleep as a kid along with classical music lmao!

I'd definitely say "Human Nature" is the group's best musical contribution. nod
