Ola Ray was in the music video for this track.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I'm digging this extended ending. I think there are three or four versions. Great song, takes me back!

"Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!
"It's just my imagination, once again running away with me."

worship

pray

I pray to the music gods for a complete remastered overall, expanded/deluxe edition with extensive liner notes.

If any album deserves the royal treatment, it's this one.

What a masterpiece. Q and Rod Temperton at thier best!! oh, and George too!

Wonder how this would've sounded if MJ recorded it. Wonder why George Benson only worked with the A-team for one album? Classic album. Love x Love another good jam.

This was the first Quincy/Rod collaboration I discovered outside their work for MJ. I think I've grown to prefer Love X Love, but the whole album's a classic.

Footage and an interview from the album sessions...

Although I give mj credit that he's worthy of, songs like these are the reason Quincy is worth of praise for his musical contributions with or without mj.

Quincy had about a 5 year peak where he was in the zone - 78-'82. And then there was BAD and also Back on the Block did well in '89.
