The The- Armageddon Days Are Here(Again)

Great track from the late 80's group The The feauring The Smiths guitarist Johnny Mar

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

i wouldn't call matt johnsons the "band" that the smiths guitarist was in. he only played on 2 albums and toured once (altho i say him guest at another tour). that would be like saying prince was the guy who wrote hit for sinead o connor

and that's sinead o connor in the bottom video and neneh cherry in the video above. both before they were well known

the the is one of the most under rated bands/artists of all time. infected, dusk, soul mining are three of the greatest albums of all time, plus mindbomb, hanky panky and nakedself

I Was feautring Johnny Marr because he is not on all of their recordings and the album is relatively short.

I wouldn't take anything from Matt Johnson he's a good singer and writer.

Ahh how I Wish for a new The The album. Matt's too busy writing soundtrax.

I tuned into the radio shows last year off the website & there are some gems yet to be released. Hoping & waiting....

it's been nearly a year since the moonbug soundtrack was released and still no sign of a new vocal album follow up to nakedself. such a shame for such a great artist

i wish he would at least use technology like itunes to try and get some of his old unreleased material out. he has a handful of unreleased albums that will have limited appeal so itunes or amazon would be a good way to get them out
