I completely agree with this.

But the problem is that in the past, when threads are started in GD, say about MJ's nose or something, it got moved into Music Non-Prince, then locked.

Are all the mods on board with this? Cause I think it's great idea that GD be allowed to discuss non-music related elements of singers, etc.

Yes, by member request as well, we've be moving non music discussion to GD so the focus can be on music

So a RIP thread for a singer/musician/entertainer would belong in GD then as well ? The death of the artist has nothing to do with the music, but usually youtube clips of the music get posted on those threads .
