Manhattan Transfer ~ Spice Of Life {12" Extended}

Stevie Wonder on harmonica.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Oh yes!! smile I had no idea a 12" version existed, actually.

Written by Heatwave alumni, Rod Temperton and Derek Bramble... it was one of the last songs to be written (and then rejected) for Thriller. Just for those who don't know.

The ironic thing about that is, there is a song on "Thriller" written by Rod, that sound just like this..."Baby Be Mine".
