The music industry is waiting for someone to rescue them from Apple.

LBK, I wouldn't be surprised if these companies know what they have in there vaults. That's why they've remastered such groups such as EWF a dozen times.

To record labels, the best albums are the ones that sell the most.

I just looked this album up and it is on Dark Horse, which probably means Olivia Harrison might be in charge of it. George let most of his own albums go out of print until not long before he died.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I remember reading that when George was getting to re-release his solo albums, the master tapes was at his home studio at Frair Park and out of order, some weren't labeled. His engineer Ken Scott had to get everyting organized before starting to remaster them, which took a long time. George owned the Dark Horse stuff, and if his masters were in his home I guess the rest of the other acts on the label was there too. Other than George's own albums that were re-released in the early 2000's, I'm not sure any of the rest have ever been on CD.
