Dave Matthews Band- Too Much (so freakin great also live in chicago sounds great too)

Led Zeppelin- Trampled underfoot is funkier than houses of the holy

Guns N' Roses - Rocket Queen live is pretty funky thought i might share.

Barbra Streisand: Funky Type Thang

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

This Smiths song had a funk edge to me. Plus bassist Andy Rourke was in a Funk band prior to joining the Smiths.

Think Notorious is very funky, but Duran Duran has more funk orientated tracks...like "Skin trade" and "All she wants"
