Songs with more than one music video

George Harrison: Got My Mind Set On You

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

U2 actually had three versions of this song.

The Fray had a couple of videos for How To Save a Life.

More recently, Jessie J had two versions of Domino.

I used to see the 1st one on MTV, and a local music video channel would show the 2nd one a lot. But I wasn't aware of the 3rd one until last year.

Pretty much every MJ video has a "story version" and a edited version.

Britney Spears 'Piece of Me' has more than one I believe.

Celine Dion 'Where Does My Heart Beat Now' has three versions I think.

All I can think of right now.

Good topic...

Jodeci - Lately (Does this count? The live version they sang first which was played on tv/radio A LOT; then they made a studio version with a video)

En Vouge - Don't Let Go (One with movie clips of Set It Off; And one without)

The original homoerotic-themed video was deemed far too controversial to be shown on Amercian airwaves when it first premiered, so MTV aired a heavily watered-down video.

While I don't usually back up censorship, I'm MTV did what they did with Relax. The original video just stupid. The main one is a classic

Thank U for posting the a-ha clip cause in almost all of these "2 videos" cases they are the same recordings just different takes on making the video. With a-ha its not only that, but its them totally re-working the song with a new producer. What happend was the first version came out in the UK in 1984 with that video for promo, the band didnt like the song that way, didnt feel it any catch, and felt they were still needing something. So Prior to an american release, Alan Tarney producer is brought in and the members of a-ha who at the time were barely in their 20's and had no previous work, they dictated to the producers what the record should sound like and were also allowed to go back in the studio and do another song for the album which was "the sun always shines on tv" which in turn would be their 2 big hits in America only. But props to them for getting a label like WB to listen to their "ideas" with no experience whatsoever.

"We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

King Kobraz - Rebelz (Feed Moncrief)

You can't go wrong with either version, but Moncrief himself appears in the video on the right

I've noticed a lot of European musicians often have music videos specially made for the US lol!
