So I guess Unsung don't debut tonight or?

I was checking my Time Warner "Guide" and scrolled down to TV1's channel (330 for Time Warner here where I live in NC) and apparently either they just put a typo in it or they have Celebrity Crime Files at the 10:00 mark. I'm guessing this is what the network sometimes does. They didn't quite put the new program up and as far as I know they debut Unsung episodes Mondays at 10:00 pm.

So I ask this question: did they cancel it or is it still scheduled to be on?

The debut episode for this season is Isaac Hayes also.

I don't think they're debuting any new Unsung episodes tonight since today was the US Presidential Inauguration day, and all of the networks which cater primarily to African Americans (BET, TV One, Bounce, Centric) were all airing the Inauguration and/or specials relating to President Obama all day today.

TV1 is still back at its regularly scheduled programming... BET's got Roots on right now and I think that's more related to King Day.

So did y'all see the Isaac Hayes Unsung last night?

I have to say...I've always loved his rendition of "Walk On By" but damn when they played it last night as he was performing it on a tv show back in the day, that bass hit me hard! lol I need to pull my Black Moses cd's and put them on my iPhone.

And why haven't they done an Unsung on Sam & Dave yet? To me, they are more Unsung than Black Moses himself. Hmm, but I'm partially not that surprised since probably the hold up is more than likely Sam Moore blocking it. Possibly.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I don't think Sam is interested. I actually loved last night's episode. The South Park situation makes sense now. His manager did him dirty on that. neutral

i would love to know why unsung like to leave out certain facts about the artist they cover? everything they talk about was common knowledge to his fanbase.

Urgh, that disco stuff. No sir. lol Damn he had 11 kids! I guess if his addiction was women, then oh well! I'd rather it been that than drugs or alcohol. But it was good that he made sure all his kids knew who their siblings were. And that Thanksgiving they were talking about, wow.

But yeah you are right about that South Park thing. Show biz folks are backstabbers. disbelief

Overall, I think it was a pretty good episode. Can't wait to see Eddie Kendricks though. Lawd. excited

I think it was last weekend I saw on my DVR guide that BET was airing the ENTIRE "Queen" mini-series featuring Halle Berry & Jasmine Guy....I wanted to watch it all over again but not the Whole Damn mini series in one sitting....

They need to stop the weekend marathons and break it all up....

Mary Wilson will likely be interviewed and say she (Mary) and Ed got it on "a little bit". Ed allegedly had a brief liaison with Martha Reeves as well.
