Sinead O'connor's 2012 Album was ONE OF THE BEST last year

I can't say it enough. I LOVE this album.

The melodies are just lovely.

Her voice has never sounded better.

The lyrics are intense.

It's brutally honest, immensely immersive.

She exposes herself better than anyone since Janis Joplin.

I really think this is one of the best albums of 2012.

Its a shame that she kinda went crazy when the disc was released. I think it diverted attention away from her work. confused

Well, she did take time off to reflect on 'her' so hopefully, we'll get a repeat performance on another album.

She's really phenomenal when she does it right. This album is just as good as Universal mother.

I've got this but I've never sat down and given it a proper listen.

This is what you want...This is what you get.

I agree. Even my gf (who is a huge fan) had a hard time listening to this one seriously after reading Sinead's blog.

But it was a really good album! And finally not Celtic or Reggae covers but the kind of music most people want from her.

It's soooooo good.

It's the kind of album that will make you quiver with delight, then go home and slap somebody's momma.

Indeed, a great album. And through it I also discovered
John Grant's solo album which is great as well.

Is John a chain smoking, whiskey drinking, bald, sometimes-lesbian? I think not!

this was the BEST album of last year... for me at least..

i still listen to it constantly and it sounds perfect..

i was lucky enough to catch her show in LA last spring.. it was INTENSE... she was ON IT...

i made me realize the power that artists have when they are dialed in.

so sad that she just couldnt handle the parts of fame that extend beyond just the music.

she has said that she is DONE with music. a total shame.

but she coudnt have left us with a better farewell gift.

but man. when grammy nominations come out and absolutely SHIT is nominated for prestigious awards ... and an album like THIS one is totally ignored..

maybe Sinead is right...

I'm a HUGE Sinead fan, and her reggae album is a desert island disc for me. I don't get why people shit on it.

I think it's a decent album. I just think it's not the kind of music Sinead does best

I don't shit on it. It's good. But I prefer to hear her do her own songs

great album! I agree it was a highlight of 2012. My favorite is "Reason With Me." I was all ready to see her in Chicago last year until the whole tour got cancelled. I do hope she reschedules and is better now. Very complex and talented person. There is a new video for 4th & Vine.

You didnt know I pissed in your coffee....................................................I could be the Queen of Belgium..

My favourites are her theme songs from The Water horse and the Young Victoria..............

I love Sinead because she is herself............crazy or not...she is original..I love her stance against the catholic church..her political activism...........

I think her honesty about her mental health has helped many people addressw theirs........

There was another song on her latest album about her youngest son and how he was the making of her................
