My favorite song by The Smiths
My favorite Smiths song, I can hear it everyday. How come The Smiths weren't bigger in the states?

My son LOVES The Smiths. He makes me listen to them all the time.
I think their music is great, really great. But I just can't warm up to Morrissey's voice.
Morrissey is coming to town next month. Well, he's not really coming to Houston - he's playing in Beaumont, which is an oil refinery town 90 miles east of Houston.
Although, they do have a first-class arena called the Ford Arena. But Morrissey isn't even playing THAT - he's playing at the convention center, which has got to be old and small.
I'm thinking of going to that show just to see how the redneck roughnecks in Beaumont react to a guy like Morrissey. BUT, the show is sold out. Sold out! Must be a lot of fans from Houston driving over to the show. | |
