I still have to go out and buy rev/rec. I don't know why
but something about "To The Teeth" just put me off her
for a while there. I didn't consider that a good album
at all.

I agree, "To The Teeth" on a whole wasn't exactly one of my favourites of hers either, I don't hate it... and there are a few songs there I really like... but yeah... she has had better albums..

And I'm with you Sdldawn, "Revelling/Reckoning" is a great album..

I LOVED To The Teeth! DiFranco is one of the very few artists that I'll buy whatever she releases without hearing it first. She has that type of clout with me.

I feel EXACTLY the same way... she just has that way of drawing one in eh?!

As for "To The Teeth" , I'm actually listening to one of my fav songs on the album "Wish I May" ...

It's funny... I don't know why it isn't one of my best albums of hers, it is an extremely powerful album... I adore the writing on it (amazing), and it has some of my favourite songs... Maybe it's because when I listen to it from beginning to end I feel so heavy and broken that I don't want to do much else but wallow in it, or withdraw from EVERYTHING.. hehe... it is very absorbing... I'm definitely not indifferent to it, quite the contrary, I just don't know... confused

I guess there are just others that "on the whole" I prefer more...

Her music always reaches me though, and pulls me in... I can't get over the way she writes, she hits home... everytime...

I'm in awe of her... she is incredible.
