Tony Williams has to be my favourite jazz drummer.

I think overall Dave Weckl (sp?) could easily claim to be technically the best drummer around. This guy makes even amazing drummers look clueless.

I saw him play last year and he was so impressive. Yet one thing struck me. I couldn't remember any of the songs after the gig. He never really settled into a groove. It was more like one big wanking fill.

My personal favourite is probably Harvey Mason.

And what about Manu Katche (sp?!!!)

And also I don't think anybody has give respect to...

Vinnie Colaiuta!
