It may have taken her a sweet minute, but Rihanna‘s new LP ‘Unapologetic‘ has finally hit sales of 1 million units worldwide.
Wanna know just how much she sold though?
Still unable to match feats landed by Taylor Swift, Drake and Lady GaGa, Rihanna‘s latest offering now holds at court at the 1,245,000 copies sold figure.
A little ‘slim’, considering the LP has now been out for a total of four weeks and is yet to move 600,000 copies in the United States despite record breaking successes boasted by its launch cut, ‘Diamonds’ and its follow up ‘Stay’ which is set to enter the UK Top 5 this Sunday.Likely to hit the 2 million units sold mark by the middle of 2013, the project’s global run will undoubtedly intensify with the arrival of the singer’s forthcoming ‘Diamonds‘ tour, which kicks off March 8th and will see her grace both stadiums and arenas in aid of the LP.
The album already went gold in Germany
And to you Rih-Rih haters ...
