I heard their first (and only, so far) album and their influence is quite clear. I can hear the James Brown and even Robert Plant vocal influence, and they're a good sounding band. I like the mix between hard rock and RnB/Soul and Blues. It gives them a modern, yet old school sound. Word has it that theyve been opening for the Who's American tour. [Edited 12/9/12 17:28pm]

Impressed by the music, not so much by the image. They could be "vintage" in not so obvious manner.
Yeah, the vocalist makes or breaks a band.

You want him to be covert vintage? What would that entail? "Climb in my fur."

As everything is so rooted to the 1960s it looks more like a theatrical act than a band performing.
Maybe they just wanted to make sure the TV audience really "got it" that they're doing the "old kind of stuff".

The band like old Skool. They love vintage stuff. The lead singer Ty Taylor loves vinyl. Joss Stone, Beth Hart, Brian May and Lenny Kravitz are huge fans. They are the best live band I have ever seen. They get you dancing sweating your clothes are soaked. Afterwards they drink and hang out with everyone. I love this vid. It is about Ty's beloved mother Nancy Lee. She passed away a couple of monthd after the Jools Holland appearance. http://youtu.be/cdFyRzI1XII Also please have a look at a sold out gig they did in my home town in Camden London last year. They sell out all their UK shows. It is free and legit and you can watch shows free on mobiles as well. http://www.moshcam.com/vi...m-992.aspx It gets so salty baby (bittersweet by Lewis Taylor)

Saw them live with the Who in Chicago, Meet them and took pictures with them. They were great but they aren't perfect. Problem is their songs aren't catchy. Like after listening to them i couldn't remember the Riff , beat, or any of the chorus's of any of there songs. They get u in the moment wen ur watching them cause of their energy but i can't imagine their studio work being enough to keep one entertained.

The Who fans are generally positive, saying it's the best opening act they've had since the Clash.

Yeah they need some hot songs and then it's over! I can't remember the songs either. A couple of memorable, catchy, well written singles in the future and they could hit BIG! Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss...

I listened to their output for about an hour on Youtube and I noticed this too.
I hate being the one making the overly negative comments in this thread, but if these guys can't come up with better songs and stick to their retro dress code schtick they're just going to be a yet another hipster flavour of the month. The UK music scene is notorious for cannibalizing bands like this.
Since they are obviously good musicians it shouldn't be impossible that they'll manage to change their game. They've nailed the overall sound, but they need more than that to stay around.

Wow amazed you think they not catchy. I think all their stuff is catchy. Doc McGee who manages Kiss and Bon Jovi signed them after 1 song. Joss did a duet with Ty on her tour. It gets so salty baby (bittersweet by Lewis Taylor)
