Ya know, I considered just doing a url= link to each of the songs instead, which shouldn't create any kind of loading issue/lag for anybody.

Do people actually follow links when they're posted like that? Is it better, worse, indifferent? Do you end up getting lost in the YouTube side bar and never returning to the original thread? lol Or would you rather have the videos in the thread at the org?

Personally, I lose interest a bit when the videos aren't in the thread.

The great post-rock, doom metal outfit Godspeed You! made an amazing album that came out in october of 2012.

This shit sounds like the REAL music of what 2012 would have sounded like if it actually happened lol

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

And... a lot of people here know i hyped the shit out of Alt Hip-Hop/Metal group Death Grips on the site! but besides the fact the band is amazing imo.

They gave us 2 albums last year and this was is the best so far and just a few months old...

I follow the links if I'm real interested. I can't get interested too much if I enter and the videos are embedded and it creates browser problems like memory lags and crashes and I can't have that. It's already for a few posts but when it's all over, I don't participate. I tried to though, GOD knows I've tried. lol

PJ Morton Exclusive Song Premiere: ''Only One'' feat. Stevie Wonder

January 28, 2013

Link

With an expansive fan base and the success of his 2012 EP, Following My First Mind," PJ Morton has managed to create quite a buzz for himself. But the singer-songwriter, producer and Maroon 5 keyboardist is ready to kick it up a notch.

The Young Money/Soothe Your Soul Entertainment signee is prepping the release of his major label debut album, New Orleans, for May 14. PJ Morton's latest single, "Only One," features the legendary, Stevie Wonder, on the harmonica. Check out the song below.

"Stevie is my biggest influence," he told Billboard of the collaboration. "Out of anybody, Stevie's really the one that I studied the most growing up in music, so we literally tried everything to get him on the song."

According to PJ Morton, Stevie Wonder's management initially passed on the song titled "Only One," but thanks to a close associate of the legend's camp, who also happened to be a fan of Morton’s music, the collaboration was able to come to fruition.

"Someone who's been working with him for years, a fan of my music, just really singlehandedly got him into the studio, recorded the song, and emailed it to me," he said. "It's really a bucket list dream for me. It's a dream come true."

Possessing percussion-heavy instrumentation with jazzy undertones, "Only One," touches on the subject of love, a topic PJ Morton's fans are familiar with.

"I'm in love with love and that's a theme I touch on very often, so it’s more of that," he said. "I feel like 'Only One' is like Kanye meets Stevie. It's always a mash-up in that way, where I'm trying to make sure it’s things that my generation can enjoy, but it’s props to all of the music that's come before me, that’s inspired me."

Legendary singer Charlie Wilson released this a few months ago but I just heard it today and I dig it. Charlie's still doing it as far as R&B is concerned. I predict another Grammy nomination:

From his just released album, Love, Charlie. And to make it sweeter, he released his album on his 60th birthday (January 29th) so happy birthday "Uncle" Charlie. cool

Well, shit. That makes my thread kind of pointless. Not that I expected much out of it anyway. But I don't have a problem with the loading lag until at least five pages. I guess I'll probably let that one go then and just post links to new stuff in these threads instead.

Yeah, it's best. I applaud you for the hard work but the embedding on this site (or any site for that matter) makes it difficult to navigate.
