Has anyone started seeing news reports of Janet Jackson being engaged?

I think this time it may be real. It's making the news all over the world, lol. Supposedly they're getting married in spring.

This is good news for Janet Jackson. Unlike other promiscuous, needy celebrities who change men like they change socks, Janet’s relationships have all been long term and stable.

From US Weekly:

A source tells Us Weekly that Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana “gave her a huge, expensive ring” earlier this year.
“She’s afraid it will get lost, so she keeps it locked up!”

The luxury-brand mogul, 37, will spare no expense on his nuptials to Miss Jackson, set for spring in Qatar.
The affair “will cost millions,” reveals a second Jackson insider. “He is flying in all of Janet’s friends and family on private jets.” (Quick refresher: The L.A.-based singer has seven siblings and more than 20 nieces and nephews.)

Adds the source, “He wants to get a top chef to create a custom menu.”
The ceremony will undoubtedly be “a circus,” another source says.

Hope next she has a real baby,Not a fake carried one.

Maybe she feels she wants to marry, if true, before waiting too long. She was with Jermaine for maybe 6 to 7 years, Wissam has been 2 years maybe.

Shes been with Wissam since 09 and Im also happy if this is true but nothing has been confirmed so its a rumor for now.

I feel you KCool on wishing her success but really? Janet is not in competition with Beyonce or anyone else at this stage of her long career. If she never sang another note (Lord forbid), marry another husband, or sell another concert ticket, her legacy is already well intact.

And why would you want her to continue marrying multiple times like Liz? Maybe I'm missing your point with that one

They're talking about it on E! News, and it was trending on Yahoo yesterday. This isn't the first time this rumor about Janet and Wissam has popped up, but I'm thinking it's true this time. She'd better put out a damn album first, though

I said "I"want this for her. I've said on here in many threads that I want her happy. But I personally want her to the point that she doesn't have to do anything but look beautiful. Like Diana Ross & Liz. They never had or have to work if they didn't want to in their twilight years. Janet has more than proved her talent & success. I know .Beyonce is no competition. I just feel too much focus is on her. Personally want it back on Janet.

Though I would be interested in new music, I think bowing out gracefully if she's already decided that was smart. She's not selling high numbers anymore though she had a successful tour supporting that compilation. I think she should really focus on her acting career in movies and possibly TV, she's still at a very good age for it and looks great and she should take advantage of that. She's also experienced in it and can take some more acting lessons if she wants. She can do a soundtrack or two sometimes, and give random concerts or tours, do it the way she did from 2009 to 2011.

In case any troll decides to bring up Madonna, let me set the record straight and tell you that she could still perform good, but I've reached a point where I don't care if she doesn't put out another record. I was not impressed with the MDNA album and feel that it's smart of her to focus on her Material Girl venture and Hard Candy gyms as well as the tours, knowing the music isn't being bought now. I think she should do a finale tour of hits too in the future.

Am I the only one excited to see what her wedding will be like?
