I appreciate MickeyDolenz and Timmy84 attempts and doing my own digging,but I found zilch.

Would have expected Alicia Keys to be on that list, but this one doesn't do anything to me.

It would be nice if people listed the artists and album titles so others know exactly what to look for if they want recommendations. Posting a picture of a wordless album cover doesn't tell people anything.

I'm not recommending anything to anyone, honestly . I'm just posting my favorites of the year. Those in the know, will automatically know about certain albums & those who don't, If you're on a computer or smartphone, you can easily find everything [or just ask ]. I doubt you're looking for anything I posted anyway .

I was asking in my previous post. I'm specifically referring to the last album on your list--the one of the white dots on the black background. When I open the image in a new tab, I still get no info about what it is.

I don't get the reason behind posting these without labeling at least the ones that don't say what they are. It comes across as being snobbish.

See, now that 's the album on your list I'd be most interested in hearing. I have heard a few songs by them. I could tell just by looking at the album cover.

The only album released in 2012 that I've enjoyed. I think it is anyway.

Forgot all about Nas. Great one indeed, but it didn't get that much replay from me since the summer it came out.

A lot of 3 star albums this year for me. Gary Clark Jnr's album Black and Blue is probably a 4 star, so i'll give it to that.

Oh, its really really good. I agree that I have not found a ton of new music this year, mostly because I have been too busy to really spend the time on it ... but there's always time for Fiona. And I love Regina Spektor's new one too. Nothing groundbreaking perhaps, but fun and gorgeous as always.

Timmy, you're another one who apparently likes keeping people in the dark about some of the albums that you chose. How am I supposed to know what that skull album cover is?
