Stevie Ray Vaughn (x2)

...Stang's Swang & Gone Home

Two generally overlooked SRV tracks by the general public.
Probably because they include Jazz-elements and we all know that JAZZ is 4-letter word.

SRV is great cool

Is he the last Blues Artist that made it really big in the mainstream?

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

Two names I remember being pushed and achieving some level of mainstream success after SRV's death in 1990 were young dudes like Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Jonny Lang.

However, there were other Blues-based artists around like Eric Gales (less success) and Robert Cray (more success).

It seems like the name that's getting noise currently is relatively newer artist Gary Clark Jr.

You might be interested in picking up on Kirk Fletcher.
He's an excellent Blues guitarist that you can even catch locally from time to time.
