Britney Spears Focusing on New Album
December 31, 2012
Britney Spears doesn't want to talk about her possible exit from The X Factor, instead she's shifting attention to her upcoming eighth studio album.
While answering fan questions on Twitter yesterday (Dec. 30), the pop superstar revealed she's " working hard" on her next album and "really focused on my music right now" and that she is "collaborating with some new inspiring producers."

Her last great album was In The Zone! Blackout was decent and Circus had a couple of highlights but Femme Fatale was horrible. Hope she distances herself from Dr. Luke and puts out a better album than that one!

I hope she's able to perform like she used to

She's getting better and better. She's almost there.
Bend those knees Britney, bend those knees!

I totally agree! That album was great! Her last one was patchy. I hated how "current" it sounded. I'm happy to hear she's going to work on a new album. I just hope it's good and not Euro/dance sounding.

as long as she keeps releasing cool singles, I'm in...

In the Zone was really cool. I bought it for Madonna despite how embarassed I was for her in the video cause I have all her albums, and ended up loving most of the CD, definitely Britney's best work. She has a lot of good songs, but the reason I am not a fan is because her voice irritates me so much on a lot of songs.

Britney's work has improved from her first 3 albums and she is a bit of a gay icon so I will be looking forward to hearing her new work no matter how robotic and samey her recent music has been

I've heard that she's working with Bangladesh and Danja. hopefully Sony and RCA won't lose their minds and let Dr. Luke A&R this album like the last one which was some straight bullshit.

There is word that Britney will be working with Hit-Boy and Will.i.am on the project. So much for something refreshingly new.
