Beatles Christmas records

1963 1964

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I remember FINALLY getting to hear these after years & years of hearing about them.

It's a very interesting overlooked insight to them year to year and how the style of

the christmas recordings evolved. I love the last two for the interesting editing going on.

It's interesting how in the first ones they're all in the room clowning and acting out

things together and then sadly in the last ones you can tell that they recorded all of their

parts seperately and it was just edited together.

Lots of great little bits though! Thanks for posting these!

A couple of record stores where I live sell a compilation album of the Christmas records. It's only on vinyl though.
