Hey guys, for about 3 years ending about 4 months ago. I was on a music journey discovering new music and performances all the time. Now i find myself once again addicted P. The problem with a prince addiction is that there is still so much i haven't heard (such as bootlegs, vault, hard to find) and its never ending so if i don't start listening to some different music my addiction will just continue haha. I need to start kinda slow so instead of Recommending artists that take time to listen to recommend me something that will catch my attention right away so . Other than P ive been listening recently to alot of the Gap band, Kc and Sunshine band, the meters, curtis mayfield, and Pfunk so try to go outside those guys. Some lesser known funk bands would be nice or some modern funk bands which i have no knowledge of. I could use some latin music like mambo(something like perez prado) or some tito puentes(but not those guys) or even some latin funk and Jazz. I was wondering if anyone new anyhting about the band that performed with Prince at the alma awards if they have any good records (grupo fantasma). Also, Really Craving some Falsetto so if anybody knows any music with a good falsetto singer that'd be cool also. Lastly, I really like Prince songs like Mellow and Come which are kinda jazzy but aren't overly jazzy. I typically perfer latin jazz and haven't been to fond of early american jazz however, something like a larry carlton style of jazz wouldn't be horrendous or a more electronic jazz style would be nice. Thanks for your help guys post some vids or something or just jot something down.
